On October 6th, HealthCare Access Maryland brought together leading experts in mental health and business leaders from across the state for a discussion on the importance of businesses supporting the mental health of their employees. Panelists for the discussion included Jeff Richardson, LCSW, MBA, Sheppard Pratt; Adam Rosenberg, Esq. Lifebridge Health; Nilesh Kalyanaraman, M.D., F.A.C.P., Anne Arundel County Health Department; and Tonier Cain, Tonier Cain International.
Cain, a nationally recognized speaker and trauma informed care expert, began the discussion by sharing her lived experience as a trauma survivor. The panelists shared key strategies for listening and creating supportive workplaces, and encouraged attendees to check-in on their employees, especially those working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
